Core Activities of the Research Affairs at the Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) can be summarized as follows:

-Conduct comprehensive student institutional research activities evaluation.

- Support the research activities at IUT

- Maintain and develop resources capable of supporting research needs at IUT.

- Communicate with domestic and international industries in order to identify their research and development (R & D) requirements and to facilitate contacts and establish links between University faculties and Industries.
